The History of Oliveira da Serra

Our history is rich and deep, accompanying generations of producers and families, from the olive grove to the table. From its beginnings in the 1960s, through the launch of the first glass bottle of olive oil in 1963, to the construction of the innovative Lagar do Marmelo in 2010, a milestone that reinforced Portugal's place as one of the world's largest olive oil producers, and, more recently, in 2025, with the launch of the 100% recycled plastic bottle.
