The olive mill Lagar do Marmelo is a landmark of modernity in Portugal and was designed by Portuguese architect Ricardo Bak Gordon, representing the technology pinnacle at the service of quality and sustainability.
Located in Ferreira do Alentejo, our mill strives to ally technology with productivity, innovation, and environmental responsibility. Our entire production process follows the highest standards of quality and control, from the olive grove to the mill, thus ensuring the origin of our products.
Visits to Lagar do Marmelo are led by a guide who explains all stages of our olive oil production, from the olive grove to the table. At the end, there is an olive oil tasting session, where you can explore your senses, discover aromas, and learn how to pair them with different courses.
Visits are free but must be booked at least 48 hours prior to the visit.
