Ingredients

2 teaspoons sugar

1 cup warm water

1 teaspoon dry yeast

Salt to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cups flour

Oliveira da Serra Olive Oil Spray, as needed

1 clove of garlic, sliced

6 cherry tomatoes, halved

Rosemary to taste

Cooking Mode

  1. Dissolve the sugar and yeast in warm water until well mixed. Let it rest.
  2. Add the tablespoons of olive oil to the water, then gradually stir in the flour and a pinch of salt.
  3. When the dough begins to pull away from your hands, shape it into a very elastic ball.
  4. Let it rise for about 30 minutes, covered in a bowl, in a warm, humid place.
  5. Spray the air fryer with olive oil spray and place the dough inside, spreading it out slightly to form a disc about a finger’s width thick. Use your fingertips to make small indentations where you’ll place the cherry tomato halves and sliced garlic.
  6. Garnish with rosemary and a few grains of salt. Spray with a little more olive oil spray and cook for about 15 minutes at 180°C, covered with aluminum foil.
  7. After 15 minutes, remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes at 150°C, until golden brown.
  8. Serve the focaccia in slices.
